Get to know the Dancing Grandmas!
Ruth
Ruth is our newest and youngest member. She joined us in August 2023 and was performing a month later! Ruth is 61 years young and has 2 children. She resides in West Chester.
Debora
Debora is 64 years old. She began with us in 2019 just before the pandemic and had to wait almost two years before performing! Debora lives in Trenton and has four children and six grandchildren. Debora is also our Booking Coordinator - give her a call!
Cornelia (Nicky)
Nicky joined us in February 2018 and has quickly learned how to tap dance! She is 64 years old, has two children, ten grandchildren, and "several" greats. Nicky lives in Silverton.
Shelley
At age 66, Shelley lives in North Avondale and has been dancing with us since moving to Cincinnati in 2009. She has four children and two grandsons, with 2 more grandchildren on the way. Shelley has been our director since 2018.
Cindy
Cindy is one of our newest members, joining us in 2021. Formerly from Finneytown, she now lives in West Chester to be closer to her 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Cindy is 70.
Troi
Troi is a two-timer with us! She danced for many years with Harris Rosedale. She took 11 years off and returned in 2011. She is 74 and lives in Mason. Troi and her husband have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Marti
Marti is 78 and lives in Colerain Township. Her family includes 3 children, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Marti has been with the group since 2008.
Karen
Karen lives in Anderson Township and is 79 years young. She has a blended family of 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Karen joined us in 2003.
Jane
Living in Peach Grove, Colerain Township, Jane is 80 years old. She has been dancing with us since 2003, when she first learned to tap dance at age 60! Jane has 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Jan
Jan joined us in mid-2018. She has four children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. She lives in Edgewood, KY and is 80 years young.
Ann
Ann has been with the group since March 2013. She is 80 years old and has 3 children and 3 granddaughters. Ann is a resident of Covington.
